My working life is in IT audit, security and data protection. That means I spend my days asking how technology and business processes can go wrong, and what would show that they have not. AI has changed what I can do about it: I can now build the tools myself, not just review them.
That background shapes how I build. I separate AI that helps me write a tool from AI that runs inside the finished tool, because they raise different questions about data. I use synthetic data in anything I show publicly, and I say plainly what a project can and cannot do.
